The last release of Thin (Cheesecake) is now able to use UNIX socket, increasing the speed of your website! See Marc-André Cournoyer stats it’s amazing.
I use it with Nginx and my webserver is really faster than previously served by mongrel & apache. I followed Marc-André guidelines, nothing is easy and fast than Thin+Nginx+Rails
