I recently bought an iPad and I want use through a Windows XP virtual machine (using Virtualbox ) on my (K)ubuntu computer.
My problem was to transfer my physical DVD movies to be able to watch them during my travel by train when going to work.

I found Handbrake a nice application to transform my DVD into Apple format.
After synchronizing my iPad through Virtualbox VM, I am able to enjoy during my ennoying travels.
